We are currently seeking a highly skilled MOT Technician to join a reputable, family-run independent service centre in Camberley, Surrey. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking stability, competitive pay, and professional growth within a trusted workshop environment. Our client, an established Bosch-approved service centre, is committed to delivering quality vehicle maintenance and repair services.
Benefits:
Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, with the possibility of performance-based bonuses for MOT testing licence holders
Basic salary of £40,000 for standard MOT Technicians
Support for ongoing professional development within a Bosch Approved Service Centre
Stability working within a well-established automotive group with clear career progression pathways
Focus on routine servicing and maintenance, minimising complex diagnostics and engine rebuilds
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 6pm
Alternating Saturdays (8am – 1pm, two in four weeks)
Friendly, supportive team environment committed to high standards of customer service
Opportunity to diversify your skills in a busy, well-equipped workshopDuties of the MOT Technician:
Conduct routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
Diagnose and repair suspension, steering, braking, and other mechanical systems
Replace exhausts, clutches, cambelts, and perform general mechanical repairs
Perform safe and accurate MOT tests (must hold a valid MOT testing licence)
Maintain high quality standards to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Liaise effectively with customers regarding repairs and vehicle condition as a MOT Technician
Ensure high standards of workmanship and safety compliance at all timesRequirements:
Proven experience working in a fast-paced automotive workshop environment
Confidence in handling all standard mechanical repairs and service tasks
Valid UK driving licence is essential
Hold an active MOT testing licence (highly desirable)
Reliable, enthusiastic, and dedicated to delivering top-quality work
