About the School

We are working in partnership with a well-established and inclusive primary school in Bury that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026.

Staff work collaboratively to provide a structured and engaging learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Role

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Contribute to curriculum planning and whole-school initiatives
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
Possess excellent behaviour management skills
Be committed to raising standards and supporting pupil wellbeing
Thrive within a collaborative and supportive team

Eligibility Requirements:

Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
