Temp to Perm Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Sheffield
Contract Type: Temporary
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a Temporary Fire Risk Assessors to work on behalf of the council in Sheffield. These roles involve conducting compliance risk assessments across various sites, focusing on fire safety. This positions are crucial for ensuring the safety and compliance of council-controlled properties, particularly high-risk buildings such as high-rise tower blocks and sheltered housing schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake risk assessments, inspections, and surveys across a range of sites.
Prepare, produce, and present both technical and non-technical reports and designs, including recommendations for remedial actions.
Communicate identified actions from the risk assessments and provide advice on necessary solutions to end users.
Act as a key member of the Facilities Management team, contributing to the team's overall success.
Develop temporary mitigation plans for identified actions awaiting capital investment.
Ensure effective consultation and communication with partners, user representatives, and other stakeholders.
Maintain high standards of health and safety in accordance with regulations and codes of practice.Qualifications and Experience:
Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Level 3 Certified in Fire Risk Assessment
A minimum of 2 years' experience in risk assessments
