The Role – EYFS Lead Primary Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated EYFS Lead Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Stourbridge area of the West Midlands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences while leading and developing the EYFS provision across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom practice, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the EYFS curriculum and provision across the school

* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and developmentally appropriate lessons

* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively within EYFS

* Support and mentor EYFS staff to maintain high-quality teaching standards

* Promote strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies

* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing

* Contribute positively to the wider school community and leadership initiatives

The Successful Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have experience teaching within EYFS

* Demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and classroom management skills

* Be passionate about early years education and child development

* Have the ability to inspire and motivate young learners and colleagues

* Work effectively as part of a collaborative leadership team

* Be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning

* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
