The Organisation
Barnet Council's Family Services team is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a temporary peak in workload. This is an inside IR35 engagement, working 36 hours per week on a hybrid basis from their Colindale office.
The Role
You'll be joining a busy children's disabilities team, providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people with a range of disabilities. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care plans and supporting families to achieve the best outcomes for their children.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC
* Experience working with children with disabilities is essential — candidates with an adult-only background will not be considered for this post
* Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritise effectively
* Strong communication and report-writing skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced local authority environment
Assignment Details
* Location: 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW
* Hours: 36 hours per week
* Working pattern: Hybrid
* Duration: 12 weeks
* Start date: 9th June 2026
* IR35 status: Inside
Rates
* PAYE: £29.06 per hour
