Contract/Project
We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our team on a live substation project.
Duration: 4 weeks+
Pay: From £26.75ph CIS
Start Date: Monday 1st June
The successful candidate will oversee and support site operations involving:
* Drainage works
* Reinforced steel works
* General civils activities within a live substation environment
You must be capable of leading gangs on site while maintaining high standards of safety, productivity, and workmanship.
Applicants must hold the following:
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work (FS/FAW)
* CPCS or NPORS
* Relevant Machine Tickets
* Experience working on live substations
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
* Ability to manage workforce and coordinate daily activities
Duties Include
* Supervising day-to-day site operations
* Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme
* Coordinating labour, plant, and materials
* Conducting site briefings and maintaining H&S standards
* Assisting hands-on where required
Experience
* Previous National Grid or utility substation experience
* Civils and infrastructure background
* Drainage experience (preferable)
* Reinforced concrete/rebar experience (preferable)
