Academics are currently searching for a passionate RE teacher to work in one of our highly regarded secondary schools in the Leeds area for an September 2026 start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is willing to make an impact on the school's curriculum and guide students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities of an RE teacher:

Controlling the classroom and ensuring that the schools behaviour policy is being followed
Teaching RE to a high standard to students across KS3 and KS4
Engaging with other members of the team, sharing ideas and contributing towards the RE curriculum
Create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their religious beliefs

Requirements of an RE teacher:

Right to work in the UK
Qualified teaching status (QTS)
A relevant degree related to RE
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
