Carpenters Mate

Orbit Workforce Solutions are recruiting for a Carpenter’s Mate for long term work in Winchester.

The ideal candidate will have previous site labouring experience alongside some carpentry knowledge and be confident using hand and power tools. Duties will include assisting carpenters on-site, handling materials, general labouring and supporting timber construction work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term work with the chance to further develop their carpentry skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting carpenters on-site

* Moving and preparing materials

* Supporting timber installation work

* General labouring and site upkeep

* Following health & safety procedures

Requirements:

* Valid CSCS Card

* Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle

* Previous carpentry knowledge or experience working alongside carpenters

* Confident using basic hand and power tools

* Reliable with a good work ethic
