The Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our busy team within the Transport department of a manufacturing site to ensure the delivery of cardboard packaging pallets to our customers safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily check of artic unit and trailer and or rigid vehicle via electronic device
Driving to customers and completing deliveries as per schedule
Driving and Working time compliance
Vehicle Defect reporting
Communicating any on road issues to Transport office
Debrief and fuel vehicle for following day
Admin, safe return of signed delivery notes
Key Skills & Experience:
HGV Class 1 Drivers Licence
Completed 5 days drivers CPC
Experience driving HGV’s in UK
Good Geographical Knowledge
Problem solving skills
Adaptable, able to embrace change at short notice
Good communication both verbal and written
IT competent – Electronic devices
