The Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our busy team within the Warehouse of a manufacturing site to ensure the smooth operations of moving, managing and organising goods within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Forklift (Bendy) operation & pre-use safety checks
Safely remove pallets from racking as detailed in pick list
Safely moving pallets from end of factory line to racking
Safely loading / unloading vehicles in yard area
Operating scanner and occasional computer use
Following SOP’s, SSW’s with a pro-active approach to safety
Attending training, meetings, company updates when required
Key Skills & Experience:
Forklift Licence preferably Pivot Steer (Bendy)
Previous warehouse, picking and loading experience
Knowledge of stock control and inventory
Knowledge of health & safety in warehouse environment
Problem solving skills
Adaptable, able to embrace change at short notice
Good communication both verbal and written
IT competent – Using Scanners & Computer Applications etc.
