General Labourer (Engineering)
Location: Rochdale, OL11
Hours: 39 hours per week – Days 7am to 3.30pm LOTS OF OVERTIME
Would need to be flexible in terms of hours some days will be 7-5 etc
Rate: £12.71 per hour
Duration: Temp to perm
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable General Labourer to join our busy engineering/warehouse team.
What you’ll be doing:
* Helping with drilling, grinding, polishing and deburring parts
* Moving, storing and disposing of materials safely (COSHH)
* Clearing coolant and swarf from machines
* Collecting and putting away tools and equipment
* Following site rules and work instructions
* Keeping the shopfloor and outside areas clean, tidy and safe
What we’re looking for:
* A hard-working, proactive and reliable person
* Able to work on your own and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Comfortable with manual handling and lifting
* Can follow written instructions and work efficiently
* Positive attitude and willing to learn
