Myrke, Berkshire, United Kingdom
Engineering
Immediate Start
£30k - £40k Annual
Full-Time
What a load of bollards. Field service engineers often get a bad deal; 2am alarms calls, stuck in M25 traffic jams, no training and a rubbish boss who never listens and doesn’t put you on any training courses.

This job is different. You will be using your wide range of installation skills of mainly mechanical, a bit of wiring and hydraulic systems for some really unusual security equipment in and around the M3 M4 corridor, Midlands, West Country and London home counties. Ideally you'll be living on the western side of London and happy to work from home.

Your background will be in the repair of mechanical equipment, probably with some hydraulics such as heavy plant, agricultural vehicles, construction equipment, HGV, security barriers, bollards or similar. There will be several weeks of product training before you are sent to customer sites and there will be a training buddy and mentor to show you the ropes

Your boss is really decent; he listens to problems, is there to help you and will even send you on technical training courses to keep your skills really sharp.

You will only be on call-out once in every 6 weeks and most faults you can fix over the phone from the warmth of your duvet – Result!

CV not ready? No problem, just call, text, inmail or email me – either way I will always get back to you
