I’m working with a highly regarded IT and technology business based in Leeds that is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, supporting commercial teams and helping shape key financial and strategic decisions.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, turning data into insight, and influencing performance in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with a range of teams across the business, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
Partnering with commercial and operational teams to support performance and strategic initiatives
Delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and insight to senior stakeholders
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles
Reviewing revenue streams, cost drivers, and margins to identify risks and opportunities
Building financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and commercial strategy
Enhancing reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI frameworks to improve visibility and understanding
Supporting month-end processes and contributing to overall financial reporting accuracy
Candidate Requirements:
ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP&A, or commercial finance role
Background within IT, technology, SaaS, or a similar fast-moving, data-led sector
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
Commercially focused, proactive, and comfortable working in a changing environment
