Join a global packaging manufacturer at the forefront of materials compliance, supporting major international brands across the EMEA region. This is a highly visible Regulatory Affairs role where you'll take ownership of compliance strategy, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in protecting both product safety and brand reputation.

What You'll Do:

Lead regulatory compliance across EMEA for packaging materials and food contact applications
Translate complex legislation (e.g. REACH, FCM, PPWR) into clear, actionable guidance for the business
Act as the primary regulatory contact for key customers, supporting technical discussions and compliance queries
Prepare and review Declarations of Compliance (DoCs) and technical documentation
Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business risks and impacts
Support supplier approval processes, ensuring materials meet regulatory requirements
Participate in supplier audits and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and R&D to support product and customer requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the regulatory function
Contribute to industry engagement through trade associations and working groups

What We're Looking For:

Strong background in Regulatory Affairs within packaging, materials, chemicals or a related industry
In-depth knowledge of EU Food Contact legislation and chemical compliance frameworks (REACH / CLP)
Experience working with customers on regulatory or compliance-related topics
Ability to translate technical regulations into practical business decisions
Exposure to supplier management, audits, or materials approval processes
Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at multiple levels
Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to compliance
Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes

Qualifications:

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Food Science or similar
Additional regulatory or auditing certifications beneficial but not essential
