Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Fixed term initially, with potential for a longer-term opportunity
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience - £93 - 105 p/d

A welcoming and supportive primary school in the Ellesmere Port area is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

The successful candidate will support children within the school's EYFS setting, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

The Role

The EYFS Teaching Assistant will:

Support children across the Early Years setting on a daily basis
Assist with delivering activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Help monitor children's learning and development through observations
Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
Work closely with teaching staff and parents to ensure positive outcomes
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the wider life of the school as part of a supportive teamThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Have recent experience working within a nursery or primary school setting
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young children
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification or be willing to work towards one
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenThe School Offers:
