We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects nationwide. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work across varied projects, liaise directly with clients and sub-contractors, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of projects, including sub-contract documentation, warranties, and bonds
Prepare, submit, and negotiate variations, claims, and interim/final valuations
Monitor cost and revenue performance, including cost and cashflow forecasts
Provide commercial and contractual advice internally and to external clients
Agree sub-contractor accounts and maintain accurate financial records
Attend project sites nationwide to liaise with clients and sub-contractors
Support the achievement of project objectives through effective cost control and risk managementRequirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, preferably structural steel
Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management
Relevant academic qualification (HND or degree) desirable
Professional membership of RICS advantageous
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
