Sub Assembly Operative - Wallingford
General Description:
The build, test and inspection of sub-assemblies.
Main Duties:
Assist in the manufacture of sub-assemblies as directed by the Cell Leader /
Logistics Manager. Adopt good workmanship and Quality standards.
Carry out assembly duties in a timely and orderly manner per production schedules.
Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as and when required.
Maintain workstation, tools and any equipment including PPE in a clean and
tidy state.
Ensure strict adherence to the companies Health and Safety policy and operate in accordance with all other company policies and procedures
Ancillary Duties:
To carry out such tasks and duties as may be required from time to time by senior
management.
Qualifications and Experience:
· A good standard of general education.
· General appreciation and understanding of conventional workshop power and hand tools.
· Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures would be advantageous.
