Join a Leading Electrical Compliance Specialist

We are currently recruiting for a Testing & Inspection Electrician to join one of the UK's leading electrical compliance and testing providers.

This is a mobile role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial projects, supporting both public and private sector clients. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term contracts in place, this role offers stability, variety, and the autonomy of working across your own regional patch.

£44,000 salary
Company van provided
45-hour working week (includes 30 mins travel each way)
Regular overtime available (1.5x for weekends, nights, and additional hours)

Permanent position within a well-established businessThe Role

You'll be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and completing remedial works across commercial environments.

This is a field-based role where you'll manage your own workload across multiple sites, ensuring all systems are compliant, safe, and operating efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct EICRs across commercial sites
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works
Complete small installations and minor upgrades as required
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and point-of-work assessments
Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices
Liaise with clients to minimise disruption during works
Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, nights, and regional travelWhat We're Looking For

Proven experience in electrical testing and remedial works
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Experience working in commercial environments
Good understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards
Ability to work independently in a mobile role
Customer-focused approachEssential Requirements

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (City & Guilds 2382)
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
