Head Chef – Garden Centre, Barnstaple - Salary: £32,000 per annum

We're on the look out for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our busy café, restaurant, and growing function trade.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality food and excellent customer experiences.

### What We Offer

- Competitive salary of £32,000 per year

- Mostly Straight shifts – 8:00am to 4:00pm

- Alternate weekends

### The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Managing all day-to-day kitchen operations

- Leading and motivating the kitchen team

- Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards

- Menu planning and stock control

- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are met

- Supporting café service and function catering

### What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef

- Strong leadership and organisational skills

- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen

- Passion for fresh food and great service

- Reliable, enthusiastic, and team-focused attitude
