A sector leading manufacturing company who have ambitious expansion plans, have a new vacancy for a Depuy Financial Controller to join the team. Offering a defined career development opportunity, candidates are sought with a good background in financial accounting with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
Prepare monthly management accounts.
Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
Monitor cash flow.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
Lead audits (internal and external) and liaise with auditors.
Develop and improve financial processes, systems and controls.
Supervise and mentor finance team members.
The Person
Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Proven experience in a senior finance role.
Previous experience working in manufacturing, production or engineering.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership and communication skills
