An established primary school in Tunbridge Wells is looking to appoint a KS2 Teacher for a full-time, long-term position. This opportunity would suit a teacher who is confident leading a KS2 class and keen to see a cohort through an extended period.
About the Position
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering well-structured lessons that support both academic progress and personal development. The role includes full planning, marking, assessment and participation in wider school life.
What You'll Be Doing
Teaching a KS2 class in line with the National Curriculum
Monitoring attainment and implementing effective intervention strategies
Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where applicable
Working closely with year group partners and senior leaders
Building positive relationships with families and carersThe School Environment
Supportive leadership team
Collaborative staff culture
Clear behaviour policies and structured curriculum resourcesRequirements
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience within Key Stage 2
Strong organisational and communication skills
