Management Accountant

Role: Management Accountant (Full-time- Permanent)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £42,500 - £45,000

About the role:

We are supporting a leading, recognised brand within the e-fulfilment and logistics sector as they continue to grow their Finance team at their Harworth site.

This fast-paced operation manages the movement of customer-specific products across a dynamic warehouse environment.

We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the business and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function and monthly reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing Fixed Asset and Leasing accounting
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
Posting journals and investigating variances
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
Supporting external audits and group reporting requirements
Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
Mentoring and supporting junior Finance team members
Producing ad hoc reports for senior management

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role, ideally within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector
Strong month-end and reconciliation experience
Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to investigate and explain variances
Experience within logistics, warehousing or fast-paced environments is advantageous
A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
