my client needs an experienced Project Manager who can lead multi‑disciplinary teams, control significant budgets and deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes for residents.
Responsibilities:
Lead borough‑wide and area‑based capital works programmes (c. £20m), including fire safety and major refurbishment schemes
Manage consultants, contractors and in‑house teams to deliver on time, to budget and to a high standard
Take ownership of financial control, performance management and quality assurance across multiple projects
Lead resident consultation and manage customer expectations throughout delivery
Ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, Fire Safety Act and wider H&S duties
Produce clear reports for senior management, members and forumsRequirements:
Strong background delivering housing capital works, ideally fire safety and high‑rise projects
Solid knowledge of Building Safety Act, housing legislation and leaseholder consultation
Proven experience managing large budgets and multi‑disciplinary teams
Degree in a construction‑related discipline (MRICS / MCIOB desirable)
Confident communicator who can lead stakeholders and residents with authority
