The Role
As an Engineering Teacher, you will:
Deliver Dynamic Lessons: This role would involve teaching KS3 to KS5 and would include planning and marking responsibilities.
Support Student Progress: Help students understand complex engineering concepts and prepare them for exams.
Work Collaboratively: Be part of a supportive department, sharing ideas and strategies to deliver high-quality teaching.
Inspire a Love for Engineering: Encourage curiosity and foster a positive learning environment where students can thrive.
What We're Looking For
Although Prefereable QTS certification is not essential: A degree in Engineering is sufficient with experience teaching in secondary schools.
Engaging Educator: You can bring engineering to life through interactive and inclusive teaching methods.
Flexible and Committed: You're available to start from September 2026 and committed to supporting students for the duration of the supply role.
Strong Classroom Management: You have experience of working in class sizes of around 25 upwards and managing various abilities.
