Architectural Technician
Location: Essex
Salary: £35-£40,000
A respected and long-established RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Essex is looking to recruit a motivated and technically capable Architectural Technician to join its close-knit and collaborative team. Known for delivering creative, design-focused projects across the residential, retail and commercial sectors, the studio offers the successful Architectural Technician the chance to contribute to a wide variety of high-quality schemes from initial concept through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the technical design and coordination of projects across all RIBA work stages as an Architectural Technician
* Prepare and manage detailed technical drawings, construction information and working drawing packages
* Assist with project delivery, including attending site visits and coordinating project information
* Communicate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors to support smooth project progression
* Contribute to planning submissions, feasibility studies and presentation material
* Ensure all technical work complies with current UK building regulations and industry standards
About You:
* Qualification in Architectural Technology or a similar related subject
* Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician within a UK architectural practice
* Good knowledge of UK planning legislation, building regulations and construction techniques
* Strong technical detailing skills combined with good design awareness
* Proficient in relevant industry software
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
