Employee Relations Business Partner (Education)

Remote with regular travel across Yorkshire, Northwest & Leeds Head Office
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Employee Relations Business Partner to join our People team, supporting leaders across our education and care services.

In this role, you'll partner with key stakeholders across the education sector, delivering proactive, data-driven people solutions and ensuring employee relations matters are managed effectively, compliantly, and with a strong focus on safeguarding and regulatory standards. You'll play a pivotal role in driving engagement, retention, and organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee a wide range of employee relations cases, including complex matters and Employment Tribunals
Provide expert coaching and advice to school leaders and operational managers
Analyse people data and trends to identify opportunities and risks, driving proactive solutions
Support and deliver change programmes across education settings, including restructures and TUPE
Contribute to key people and engagement initiatives, including wellbeing, leadership development, and staff experience
Ensure all ER practices align with education regulations and safeguarding standards
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across schools and education servicesAbout You

Proven experience handling complex ER casework end-to-end
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
Experience within education, healthcare, or other regulated environments (education preferred)
Data-driven with the ability to turn insights into action
Strong stakeholder management, particularly with education leaders or multi-site operations
Resilient, approachable, and solutions-focused
