A growing UK business is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to provide high‑quality financial oversight and play a key role in the company’s next phase of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished finance professional who enjoys leading a small on‑site team, improving processes, and delivering meaningful commercial insight.

Experience We’re Looking For

* Intercompany accounts, reconciliations and transactions

* R&D tax credits

* Margin reporting and analysis

* Team management and development

* Understanding of US finance requirements

* Month‑end and year‑end reporting

Key Responsibilities

* Lead month‑end processes and produce accurate management accounts

* Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting

* Strengthen financial controls, processes and reporting

* Provide commercial insight and support to senior leadership

* Oversee compliance, reconciliations and financial governance

* Support ad‑hoc financial projects and decision‑making

What You’ll Bring

* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager

* Strong understanding of SME finance environments

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to improve processes and drive financial clarity
