Salary: £18 - £25 per hour (depending on experience)
Overview
Time Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Little Hulton. This role is ideal for a skilled individual with a strong background in structural engineering and a commitment to producing high-quality fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding to a high professional standard
Carry out fabrication work based on detailed engineering drawings
Interpret and read technical / engineering drawings accurately
Assemble and manufacture structural components
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and industry standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Previous experience working within structural engineering environments
Strong fabrication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
TIG welding experience (preferred but not essential)
Experience working with a variety of materials and thicknesses
Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications
Personal Attributes
High level of accuracy and pride in workmanship
Strong work ethic and reliability
Good communication skills
Health and safety conscious
