We are looking for an Engineering Lead to join the team of an established company in London. This role is offering a 6 month fixed term contract and the opportunity to lead a successful engineering team across a large estate.
Engineering Lead
Monday to Friday / 8:30am – 5:00pm / 40 hours per week
6 Month Fixed Term Contract
£55,000k
As an Engineering Lead, you will be:
* Leading and managing a multi-skilled Hard FM team, including Supervisors and Engineers
* Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems to ensure compliance and service delivery targets are met
* Ensuring statutory compliance, audit readiness, and adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work procedures
* Managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard
* Monitoring service performance, producing reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Coordinating labour, resources, and materials to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance activities
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and internal teams across the university estate
To be successful as an Engineering Lead, you will need:
* Level 3 qualification or above in a recognised engineering discipline
* A recognised trade background in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering
* Minimum 2 years’ experience within a TFM or IFM environment
* Strong knowledge of hard services and associated regulations
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
