We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well established School based within a commutable distance of Grays,Thurrock. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that SEN Students are receiving the appropriate quality education that they need. Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored learning plans for students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with SEN.
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor and assess student progress.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEN.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student development and achievements.
Qualifications:
* Must have a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
* Proven experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Relevant qualification around education or SEN is desirable.
* Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-day:
* Working closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure individual learning needs are met.
* Adapting teaching materials and methods to suit the individual needs of students with SEN.
* Providing regular progress reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
* Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance SEN knowledge and skills.
