Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealer in Treforest, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional aiming to advance their career within a well-established dealership group.

Opportunity to enjoy a 40-hour working week on a 4-day rota, with a long weekend every week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm)Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct fault diagnosis and large engine work, alongside completing routine servicing and repairs as a Vehicle Technician
Ensure accurate reporting of vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues
Maintain compliance with quality standards, health and safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle faults and supporting the workshop team
Work towards team targets whilst producing high-quality workmanship within a busy environment
Vehicle Technician adhere to all health & safety regulations and manufacturer procedures
Further develop diagnostic skills; ideally hold a Diagnostic or Master Technician qualification
Maintain a current UK driving licence and an active MOT licence is highly advantageousRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
At least 3+ years of practical post-qualification experience
Strong diagnostic skills, with a preference for those qualified to Master Technician level
Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet individual and team targets
Committed, motivated, and capable of producing work of consistently high quality
