Location: Mold, North Wales
Duration: 12 Months+ (2-3 years likely)
Rate: £50.00 per hour PAYE GROSS (plus holiday pay on top) - inside IR35 only
Schedule: Site Based
Requirement: CSCS Card Essential (Gold Preferred)

Description

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Superintendent / Construction Supervisor to join a major onshore construction project of a carbon capture facility based in Mold, North Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and management of civil and structural subcontractors across a busy industrial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage civil and structural subcontractors on site
Coordinate daily construction activities across multiple disciplines
Promote and maintain a strong site safety culture
Attend and contribute to daily coordination meetings and weekly progress reporting
Monitor contractor performance against project specifications and programme targets
Ensure compliance with project quality standards and HSE requirements
Review contractor method statements and risk assessments and ensure adherence on site
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
Coordinate civil and structural activities with other site disciplines
Monitor contractor manpower and resources to ensure project delivery targets are met
Identify programme risks and support recovery actions where required
Assist with project documentation, inspections, and handover activities
Support project planning and cost monitoring activities
Establish inspection, monitoring, and hold points throughout the worksEssential Experience
Industrial construction or petrochemical site experience
Experience supervising civil and structural subcontractors
Piling and foundations experience
Structural steelwork
Rebar caging and formwork
Underground drainage installation
Road construction worksQualifications & Certifications
Valid CSCS Card (Gold preferred)
CITB / NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent industry qualifications
Up-to-date safety and first aid training
ECITB Temporary Works certification advantageous
