SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time (September 2026 Start)

We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in the Watford or Hemel Hempstead area from September 2026.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

The Role

The successful candidate will support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the classroom, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Requirements

Experience working with children or adults with additional needs
A caring, patient, and positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must hold a Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting individuals with additional needs
Reliable and proactive
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Experienced in SEN settings, education, care, or support work
