Business Development Manager
£35,000 – £45,000 + Uncapped Commission
Vauxhall, London | Office-Based
If you can sell, open doors and build relationships — you’ll make serious money here. This is not an account management role. This is not a “wait for leads” role. This is a pure business development position with a long-established contractor that wants growth and is willing to pay properly for it.
You’ll be joining a well-respected painting & decorating specialist that’s been operating since the 1970s, delivering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education and specialist sectors. They already have the delivery reputation. What they need now is someone hungry enough to bring in more work.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Cold calling and opening conversations with new clients
• Generating meetings and opportunities
• Building a pipeline from scratch
• Developing repeat business relationships
• Working with commercial and estimating teams to convert wins
• Creating revenue — and earning commission from it
This role suits someone competitive, energetic and money-motivated.
You do NOT need construction experience.
You DO need confidence, resilience and the ability to pick up the phone when others won’t.
