Our client are a leading manufacturer providing specialist solutions to a variety of industries such as aerospace, power generation, rail and oil and gas industries. They are looking for a Warehouse Operator on an initial 3 month contract.

Warehouse Operator
Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm, Friday 1:30pm finish
Competitive Salary, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
4x annual salary life assurance, pension

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and preparation of materials and products in alignment with production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries in line with company procedures.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for both internal production and external shipment.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
Maintain accurate records through stock checks and inventory system updates.
Support regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health & safety standards.Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
Forklift license or certification preferred (training may be provided).
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Physically fit to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Due to security clearances, candidates must hold a British passport and have the right to work in the UK
