With a leadership team of seasoned chartered professionals boasting over 20 years of industry experience, the consultancy combines deep technical expertise with a personalised, relationship-driven approach.

Recently established and already making a strong impact in the industry, the consultancy has an impressive project pipeline secured through 2026/27. They deliver high-quality cost consultancy services on projects ranging from £1m to £25m across commercial, industrial, residential, education, retail, and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing cost, commercial and contractual responsibilities across diverse and high-quality projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a leadership pathway within a supportive, collaborative, and growth-focused environment.

This is a rare chance to join a consultancy at a strategic level, with the ability to influence the future direction of the business. You will lead technical delivery, develop the team, contribute to business development, and support the implementation of strategic growth plans.

Projects typically range from £1m to £25m, providing exposure to a broad portfolio across commercial offices, industrial developments, residential schemes, education projects, retail, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery of cost management and Quantity Surveying services across multiple projects and sectors.

* Work closely with senior leadership to shape and implement strategic growth plans.

* Manage, mentor, and develop a growing team of Quantity Surveyors.

* Play an active role in business development and work-winning activities.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

* Ensure high standards of technical delivery, reporting, and client service.

* Oversee pre- and post-contract activities, including cost planning, tendering, valuations, and final accounts.

* Contribute to operational planning, resource management, and business performance monitoring.

About You

* Ideally MRICS qualified, with significant post-chartership experience.

* Strong background delivering Quantity Surveying services within a consultancy environment.

* Experienced in managing and developing project teams.

* Demonstrable track record of client relationship management and work-winning.

* Commercially astute, proactive, and confident in supporting strategic decision-making.

* Passionate about contributing to the growth of an ambitious, entrepreneurial consultancy.

What’s on Offer

* Senior leadership position with autonomy and influence.

* Clear pathway to equity or partnership for high-performing individuals.

* Exposure to a strong, secured project pipeline and diverse project portfolio.

* Positive, agile, and entrepreneurial culture.

* Competitive salary, bonus structure, and flexible benefits package
