We’re excited to work with a progressive construction consultancy delivering high-profile schemes nationwide, seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee projects of significant scale and value while building strong client and contractor relationships
This innovative consultancy delivers high-quality project and cost management services across a variety of sectors. Their projects typically range from £5M to £50M, with flagship developments exceeding £75M. Recent and current projects include retail fit-outs for leading high-street brands, large-scale refurbishment and fit-out schemes, hotels, student accommodation and healthcare developments, as well as industrial warehouses and private residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects from design and planning through construction and handover
* Manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with HSE, quality standards, and contractual requirements
* Oversee risk management, change control, and issue resolution
* Mentor and support project teams, sharing best practice and ensuring high performance
* Deliver clear project reporting to senior management and clients
* Foster strong working relationships to enhance client satisfaction and future business opportunities
About You
* 7+ years’ experience managing construction or property development projects
* Proven track record delivering projects in sectors such as retail, hospitality, residential, and industrial
* Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, contracts, and stakeholder expectations
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
* Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
* MRICS, PMP, or equivalent accreditation is desirable but not essential
