Job Title: Permanent Science Teacher

Overview

A All through school in Lichfield is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join its team from September 2026. The role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners with a strong subject background and a clear approach to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver structured, engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum

* Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS2, KS3 and KS4

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback

* Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment

* Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development

* Participate in school-wide initiatives, meetings, and CPD

Candidate Profile:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Degree in a Science-related discipline

* Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

* Effective classroom management and communication skills

* Commitment to student achievement and progression

* Ability to contribute to a collaborative department

Desirable:

* Experience teaching KS5 (A-Level)

* Familiarity with current GCSE specifications

* Evidence of raising attainment
