This is a temporary full-time position with competitive hourly rates ranging from £21.91 PAYE/ £29.49 UMBRELLA. About the Role:
As a Public Realm Supervisor, you will take on a vital leadership role, overseeing street cleansing and estates cleaning services. Your operational expertise will ensure the smooth running of daily tasks, enhancing the public spaces that our community relies on. This is your chance to create a positive impact while collaborating with a dynamic team!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational leadership for front-line staff, managing up to 40 team members.
Ensure compliance with Council policies on health and safety, attendance, and performance.
Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
Deploy resources efficiently to maximize productivity and service quality.
Monitor performance against targets and implement continuous service improvements.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Proven supervisory experience in either public or private sector service delivery.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities within a public service context.
Skills: Excellent organisational skills, ability to communicate effectively, and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Personal Qualities: A self-motivated, innovative, and adaptable individual who thrives in a busy environment.
