Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a long-term contract role on a major port redevelopment project in Stanford-le-Hope.

Role overview:

* Setting out and surveying for civil engineering / infrastructure works

* QA checks, as-built records, and site documentation

* Supporting day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination

* Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification, and H&S requirements

* Liaising with site management, design teams, and operatives

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils, marine, or infrastructure projects

* Competent with setting out equipment and interpreting technical drawings

* CSCS card (essential)

* SMSTS/SSSTS beneficial

* Strong documentation and reporting skills

Contract details:

* Long-term freelance engagement

* 12-hour shifts

* Competitive day rate (DOE)
