Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Young Person's Supported Accommodation Worker to join a Housing Association based in Salford on an ongoing temporary contract. This is a full-time role working on a mixed shift basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred and trauma-informed support to young people within supported accommodation.
* Develop and maintain tailored support and safety plans.
* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
* Support young people with independent living skills including budgeting, cooking, tenancy management and accessing services.
* Deliver one-to-one sessions and group activities co-designed with young people.
* Support young people to move into permanent accommodation and sustain independence.
* Respond to incidents, safeguarding concerns, emergencies and crisis situations appropriately.
* Maintain accurate records, case notes and support documentation in line with GDPR and organisational procedures.
Requirements:
* Experience working within young people’s supported accommodation or a similar support setting.
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Experience in support planning, key working and risk assessments.
