About the Role

Inspire EHC is working with a specialist primary SEN school supporting pupils aged 6–11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated communication needs.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learning to pupils who are working below age-related expectations. This role is ideal for teachers who thrive in a nurturing, structured environment and want to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes

Support pupils with ASC, SEMH and complex needs

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

Contribute to EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and multi-agency meetings

Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (Therapists, SEN staff, TA support)

Create a safe, structured and positive learning environment

Implement behaviour strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviours

Promote pupil progress in academic, social and emotional development

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching KS1 / KS2 (or equivalent SEN setting)

Knowledge of Autism (ASC), SEMH, and complex needs

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs

Experience managing behaviour effectively in an SEN setting
