Trainee Fabricator Welder – Aberdeen

KBM Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Trainee Fabricator Welder to join a well-established engineering company in Aberdeen.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a bit of welding experience to develop further hands-on skills within a busy workshop environment. The Trainee will be responsible for fabricating and welding, in accordance with container specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out MIG and MMA welding duties

* Assist with fabrication, fitting, and repair of steel components

* Operate workshop equipment including grinders, bandsaws, guillotines, cutting torches, overhead cranes, and hand tools

* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area

* Follow all health & safety procedures and company processes

* Work collaboratively within a team environment

* Support other workshop activities as required and participate in cross-training opportunities

Candidate Requirements

* Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Previous workshop or repair environment experience preferred but not essential

* No formal qualifications required

* Motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work
