We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Yard Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Thurrock.

This is a hands-on role working across both the warehouse and yard environment, supporting the movement, preparation and dispatch of steel products. The company manufactures security shutters and doors, therefore the role will involve heavy lifting and manual handling duties at times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Picking and preparing customer orders

* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

* Moving stock and materials safely around the warehouse and yard

* Assisting with goods in and dispatch operations

* Supporting the warehouse and production teams

* Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe

* General warehouse and yard duties as required

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous warehouse, yard or manufacturing experience preferred

* Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling

* Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious

* Able to work well within a team environment

* Good attention to detail

Due to the location, candidates will need to drive and have access to a vehicle

Hours & Benefits:

* Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm

* Early finish every Friday

* Full-time permanent position

* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

* Free onsite parking
