Duties:
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle examinations, including electronic vehicle health checks
* Identify non-routine faults and defects in the workshop or during road tests
* Carry out repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with technical standards
* Provide excellent, courteous, and responsive service to colleagues and customers
* Communicate vehicle progress and technical issues effectively to the service team and customers
* Support and mentor apprentices within the workshop
* Assist in developing and implementing improved work methods to enhance efficiency
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealer environment
* Full UK driving licence is essential
* MOT licence desirable but not mandatory
* Ability to work within structured processes and promote best practices
* Customer-focused with strong communication skills
* First-time fix mentality and commitment to ongoing learning
* Team player, capable of supporting colleagues and apprentices
