About the Role
The role involves supporting the heat treatment of components, along with cutting and preparing specialist alloy products. This is a hands‑on position in a technical manufacturing environment, ideal for someone who values quality, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out heat treatment activities in line with technical instructions.
Programme and operate furnace control systems.
Safely handle materials using overhead cranes and forklift trucks.
Operate Brinell hardness testing equipment.
Assist with large and small sawing operations.
Update job records and bookings using the internal system.
Support dispatch of materials where required.
Complete daily safety, quality, and compliance checks.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5S.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.What We're Looking For
Experience operating overhead cranes and FLTs
Experience of working with metals within a manufacturing environment such as heat treatment, forging, melting etc
Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments.
Positive attitude towards safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good timekeeping, attendance, and personal discipline.
Work with specialist equipment in a skilled engineering environment.
Be part of a supportive, safety‑driven team.
Opportunity to contribute to improvement and development activities.
The position also includes a bonus of up to 15% OTE £4k+ on top of your salary
