We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, with the furthest drop off being in Scotland. The position requires no more than 3 points on your driver's license.
Responsibilities:
Drive a van and deliver goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner
Plan delivery routes and ensure that all deliveries are made on time
Load and unload goods from the van, and ensure that they are handled safely
Ensure that all delivery paperwork and invoices are completed accurately
Maintain the van in good working condition, reporting any issues or faults immediately
Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring that the van is operated safely at all times
Provide excellent customer service, interacting with clients in a polite and professional manner
Maintain a clean and tidy van, ensuring that it is presentable at all times
Requirements:
Full, clean driver's license with no more than 3 points
Previous experience as a van driver or similar role is preferred
Good knowledge of road safety and traffic laws and regulations
Ability to plan delivery routes efficiently and effectively
Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required
Good time management and organisational skills
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.00-18.00 (Overtime when necessary)
