Your responsibilities as NPD Technologist

Develop and refine recipes, flavour profiles and kitchen prototypes aligned to customer briefs
Research food trends, ingredients, packaging innovations and competitor launches
Coordinate factory trials and support successful product launches into manufacture
Create specifications, cooking instructions, nutritional information and quality standards
Source raw materials alongside purchasing and technical teams while ensuring compliance standards are met
Conduct benchmarking, sensory evaluations and product validation throughout shelf-life testing
What we’re looking for in an NPD Technologist

Previous product development experience within food manufacturing
Strong understanding of recipe development, ingredients and food trends
Knowledge of labelling regulations, specifications and allergen management
Good IT skills including Word and Excel
Degree qualification in Food Science, Nutrition or a Science-related subject is desirable
