Year 1 Primary Teacher

Aspire People are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils transition from the EYFS framework into more structured KS1 learning.

The school is looking for someone who can create engaging and creative lessons while supporting pupils academically, socially, and emotionally during this important stage of development.

The Role:
* Full teaching responsibility within a Year 1 classroom
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
* Supporting early phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy development
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assessing pupil progress and adapting learning where needed
* Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider KS1 team

The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within KS1
* Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Passionate about pupil progress and development
