An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Management professional to join one of the UK’s leading construction and property consultancies in a senior leadership capacity across the North West region.

This is a key strategic hire within a highly respected and well-established team, delivering major projects across a diverse portfolio including further education, industrial, commercial office space, healthcare, national museums, and high-profile sporting developments. Current schemes span prestigious clients and institutions including leading universities across Manchester and Liverpool, alongside landmark cultural and sporting projects.

The successful individual will play a pivotal role in leading and growing a close-knit Project Management team operating across both the North West. This is a management-oriented position, combining project delivery with operational leadership, team development, and business performance responsibilities.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors

Managing and mentoring a multidisciplinary Project Management team across the North West

Driving team performance, utilisation, and overall operational excellence

Taking ownership of regional P&L performance and supporting wider business growth initiatives

Building and maintaining strong client relationships across both public and private sector accounts

Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities for continued expansion within the region

Collaborating closely with senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the North West business

Overseeing project governance, procurement strategies, and delivery methodologies

Acting as a key figure within the regional leadership team, supporting both team growth and client development

About You

Proven experience in a Senior or Associate Project Manager role within the construction consultancy sector

Strong track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects

Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Strong understanding of construction procurement and delivery routes

Commercially minded with experience contributing towards business performance and profitability

Previous team leadership or management experience preferred

Professionally qualified (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent preferred)
